Apple ID is required to use all the apps of Apple. To reset your password on your trusted Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences and then click Apple ID, click Password & Security, and follow the instructions.

Tap "A different Apple ID."
Enter your Apple ID and follow the onscreen instructions to reset your password
